One of the great highlights of our awareness raising around the time of World Down’s Syndrome day every year is the opportunity for us to go into schools across Cheshire and present assemblies on the subject of Down’s Syndrome, the work that we do at CDSSG and to celebrate our fantastic gingerbread sock biscuit campaign (which a great many of the schools take part in). Of course this year’s roadshow, along with most activities around the world, has been cut short by the coronavirus pandemic, but we were very glad to have had the opportunity to visit those schools that we did and remain extremely grateful for their wonderful support.

We very much hope to revisit as many schools as possible once the current restrictions are lifted and continue to champion and celebrate the wonderful DS community both in Cheshire and around the world. So, once again, thank you all for your continued support, and please stay safe and together at this time!
