A Ton of Fun at our Super Summer Holiday Club...
For 8 days over the second half of August, we welcomed members through the doors of the Down Syndrome Cheshire Hub for lots of fun with our friends, Poppy Jardine Dance Teaching, DJ Jay, Molecular Marty Science, Let’s Farm and Cheshire Dance.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the incredible volunteers whose support made it possible to accommodate as many members each day as we did. In total, 39 members enjoyed the holiday club sessions.
If members of your family were lucky enough to attend then we hope they enjoyed themselves as much as we did.

We had an amazing Halloween-themed October half term with our Thrive Club Day Service and Holiday Clubs! It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and welcome new ones. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for a week full of smiles, laughter, and friendship. We’re so excited to welcome more members to The Learning Lab , our fun and engaging program designed by Down Syndrome Cheshire to help individuals with Down syndrome learn, grow, and thrive . Through exciting, hands-on sessions, participants will explore: ✅ Digital Skills 💡 Life Skills 👩🍳 Cooking 🎵 Communication Skills 👫 The Learning Lab runs monthly on Saturdays (10am–2pm) at the Down Syndrome Cheshire Hub for the following age groups: 👧 Primary (6–10 years) 🧑🎓 Secondary (11–15 years) 🌟 16+ Each session is filled with learning, laughter, and life skills to support independence and confidence, all in a safe, inclusive environment.
