Learning for Life - Growing Up and Keeping Safe

As part of our continuing support for our 18yrs+ members, our employment & enterprise lead, Lucy McLaren, is hosting a series of mini-seminars delivered under the title Learning for Life - Growing Up and Keeping Safe. These informal and interactive weekly sessions cover a wide range of topics centred around the personal development of our young adult members.

Learning for Life is a project created by our friends at Learn and Thrive and covers personal health, emotions, relationships, and appropriate behaviour. Learn and Thrive have built this programme to support young people in primary and secondary school and beyond. The Learn and Thrive team explain that Learning for Life provides critical teaching on key social and emotional development areas, and we're delighted to say that our members, pictured below, engaged brilliantly, with everyone demonstrating a better understanding of the subject areas discussed over the course of the sessions.

As an organisation driven to support and empower, we felt so fortunate to have access to such a wonderful array of print and digital resources to support the effective delivery of such vital life skills to our membership.
